CNN hosted a Talarico town hall tonight. Blows my mind that there are so many Texans who consider voting R a badge of honor as a “real Texan”. How limiting! When a criminal is the R candidate, for some of these dyed-in-the-wool Texans, in order to be faithful they must always vote R no matter who.

People tend to adopt the religious beliefs they’re exposed to. Most ppl spend little time trying to understand other faiths. For example, American Christians know very little about Hinduism, Buddhism, or Muslims & there’s no motivation to learn. Christians feel confident they have the 1 true faith

ATTN Democratic Party: for the GOP die hard voters because their one issue is abortion- it could be beneficial to inform these voters the high infant & maternal mortality rates under the Republican admin. In addition, abortion rates are generally lower under a Democratic admin.

TV lawyers opine about DOJ seeking to indict Hutchinson over her 1/6 testimony. Even if the indictment doesn’t go anywhere, it’s important to remember that actions like this cause hardship to the accused, so in any case there’s retribution. So SICK! Hutchinson has been heroic & DJT’ll punish her.

Parents must discuss things with their kids. In my old age I still remember my dad, while in my preteen yrs, explaining how people get caught up in mob mentality & to be on guard & not go along but to step back & make good decisions. It was a great lesson for impressionable children. Communication!

Almost agree- everything except the “the public will not be gaslit”. Because there’s a huge % of Americans who actually have been gaslit & it’s an important fact to remember or we won’t be able to address it (by “address it” I refer to regulating disinformation & protesting disinformation outlets).

If a US citizen or immigrant legally allowed to reside in the USA, is being accosted by masked armed ppl, it seems that the local police should be called & intervene- & the ppl threatening others, ICE or whomever, should be arrested. I’ve NEVER heard an explanation why this isn’t the case.

In my experience people who have a slack jaw so that their mouth hangs open most of the time are generally struggling mentally & physically. This isn’t a particularly astute observation-most of us recognize this. It’s shameful to push McConnell around in this shape. Shame on his family, staff & GOP.

Talking to techie today who uses AI to build websites now as she winds down towards retirement. She said AI will doom us soon- it was swearing at her the other day. When I heard that my heart started pounding & couldn’t catch my breath for an hour. We are completely vulnerable.
