I cannot overstate the importance of reading books, particularly novels by respected authors, for critical thinking skills and reading comprehension. If the big gun novelists don't interest you, start small and work your way up. Or read whatever interests you. Just read. Or listen. It's all books.

Was a terrible prime minister that divided Canadians for 10 years. Time for change in Canada. He’s stood up against trump like EVERY other PM would have done so it’s not like it’s anything extra special now. Also who taxes their own citizens for a climate crisis that Canadians have no control over?

Totally, If not interested in factors than XEQT or XIU & XAW would be great selections. Now if you want USD for retirement then it complicates it a bit but still worth looking into if one will vacation or live in a USD dominated area. Brings a extra burden tho that can’t go unnoticed

It's colorectal cancer awareness month! 💩 In late 2022, I developed overt symptoms of colorectal cancer (I'll leave it up to your imagination). Nobody ever told me that having a first degree relative* (FDR) with colorectal cancer means you should start screening at 40 rather than 50.

I can’t afford to live in st barts or New York City so does that mean I should get supplemented so I can? It’s a slippery slope and I don’t want to supplementing those that can’t make sacrifices with my tax paying dollars. No hard feelings I’m just not a fan of this style of thinking. All the best!

Wasn’t implying you don’t have a job. What if folks take advantage of this and can live a good life but chose to buy expensive material things and other misc crap while getting supplemented by taxpayers? If where you are (not you) is too expensive maybe people should move to where they can afford.

Bound to happen eventually… shouldn’t matter to folks who are believing their process and conviction… not surprised at it tho
