One more #ThrowbackThursday - my only living child in 11/69 (about 7 mos. old) and both of us observing the falls at The Devil's Hopyard State Park in Connecticut. It was a good place to find wild Bittersweet plants for dried bouquets and wreathes, especially pinecone ones.

Do you know the Distelfink? If you grew up in the U.S. midwest and/or are of Pennsylvania Dutch (German) heritage, you've seen the stylized finch in decorations, usually looking over it's shoulder. It's the symbol for good luck & joy in that culture. Strangely, also seen in hex signs! #WyrdWednesday

"The Writting Factory" as the student's say), the leading profs were having a fallout over which was more important - the Oxford Comma or the Em Dash. A mediator persuaded them to get behind something they could both support: punctuation overall.
