Once again, I find a printing issue in a TV show. From Ludwig, season 2. A newspaper printed in 2004. Allegedly. Rather, because we can see halftone dots, this was mocked up and not set to 100% black when printed. It's an image, not output as type.

I think this is someone's idea of parodying Conrad's "The Secret Sharer"?

Are You My Doppelganger?

• On Aug 22, 2026 I saw my own visage on the body of another human.
It shook me to my core.
• After an emotional day trying to send Bitcoin to get my Grandmother out ot jail, I took a nap.
When | woke up I was paralyzed and saw them at the foot of my bed.
• I tried to shout at them, but my mouth didn't work, once I finally rolled out of bed, they were gone.
• My doppelganger might have access to anesthetics and may be connected to the arrest of my Grandmother

• I have so many questions, and want to know more.
• If you look like this, please meet me at Cal Anderson Park on September 26th at Noon. Or email: [redcacted]

[In handwriting]: The graphic designer failed to add my photo before printing. If you’re my doppleganger, you probably didn’t need the photo anyway. [written over [insert attached photo here within two boxes]

The TV networks did not bring cameras to Trump’s ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new helipad on the South Lawn. Watching the White House’s official YouTube stream, it was impossible to hear any of the president’s remarks. The audio is completely garbled.

Rereading Lathe of Heaven, and came across a short passage I'd forgotten. Now I'm wondering if this sparked the lovely bit in The Magicians trilogy where Quentin finds his discipline is minor mending, which ultimately turns out to be a big deal (occurs differently but cleverly in TV series, too).

You can also opt to get **That One Matt Bors Comic** with a special signature page, one of two designs, that will be signed and inscribed by Matt and me. (You can even order both designs.) www.kickstarter.com/projects/gle...
Two designs for signature page that riff on “Improve Society” final panel: left, same general design with green grass and blue sky, but castle in background is on fire, Mr. Gotcha is dead, and the peasant is making a V sign and smiling. At right, a Wasteland dystopia, with a red style, black clouds, and ruined earth. Mister Gotcha is mutated, with green goo pouring out of his well. The peasant is equipped like a Mad Max character, with an eyepatch and spikes on one shoulder.
