Just IMAXed Resident Evil (2026). Well worth my time and money. 👍 I liked the camerawork/lighting, hunour, sounds, gore. Story is a good take on the RE universe, a worthy reboot.

I just binged the mini-series 'Agatha All Along', set in the #Marvel Cinematic Universe. Came in with low expectations, but really, really liked it. Definitely one of the best non-movie #MCU productions imo. Everyone killed it. Aubrey Plaza did her signature thing and it really worked here.

Oh no, that's horrible :( I'm so sorry to hear that. Make sure to spend as much time as possible with her while you still can. I still can't grasp how quick my stepdad went from "slightly weakened right arm" to "can barely walk, talk or lift anything, not even use a remote control".

Thanks! Rust will be dealt with much later, the car is decent for 49 years old, but has a lot of battle scars. Ah yes, good eye. The brake problem: Plan was 16" wheels and 9-5 Aero brakes (308mm disc, pictured). BUT to save weight, I'll go with base model brakes (288mm) and 15" wheels (pictured).

Placeholder tyres should arrive next week. In the meantime, I'll try to get the left side suspension done, and try to find a way to adapt the VW tie rods to the Saab knuckles.

Scirocco update! I have found a way to easily modify the #VW control arms to accept Saab #Saab 9-5 lower ball joint. This meant that I, for the first time, could bolt up a Saab 9-5 knuckle, hub, brake disc, coilover, NG900 driveshaft and OG9-3 15" wheel 😀 HUGE step for this project. #weirdcarBS

Finally got Tecnocast replica wheel decals made. Installed them the other day and it made such a difference. #Mitsubishi

We bought one of those as a first car for daughter. Decent car. Did not like the stupid belt setup for the alternator, PS, etc.. But other than that it was quite good.

My MR2 had a big misfire or something last night during a pull. Not sure if it did hit boost cut for some reason or perhaps fuel starvation due to low fuel level.. Will have to investigate to make sure nothing's wrong

Back in 2020, I lost my father following 20+ years of him struggling with Huntington's disease. He was only 65 when his body couldn't do it any longer. Today, 27 Sept 2026, I Iost my stepfather (who was just as much of a dad to me), at only 67, after fighting ALS for 3 years. I'm gutted. 😭
