GENUS is LIVE at last! Read the first 4 pages on ComicFury! Discover the terror of identity in my erotic horror comic. #genuscomic #comicartists genus.thecomicseries.com 🩸📖

The cover of GENUS. A digital black and white illustration of a masked danseur (Francesco?) under a spotlight in a pose from the Swan Lake ballet. Shadowy hands replace the ribbons on his shoes.

the more unfinished projects you have the better. the bigger your graveyard the more strange zombies you can sew together from the body parts. do not feel self-conscious about it. just keep making.

Mark Allen Shepherd as Morn on the set of "Emissary", STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE (1993)

Mark Allen Shepherd as Morn in his seat at Quark's (note the lack of replicator and generally unfinished look of the set) during production of "Emissary".

Morn originated as a sketch based on a bulldog which Makeup Supervisor Michael Westmore drew on the back of a shooting script. According to Westmore, the Morn mask underwent several revisions to fit alongside the franchise's aliens before it was approved by the producers: "Several heads were made for Morn to appear in DS9: 'Emissary'... some of the heads they felt were a little too far out, that they weren't quite STAR TREK."

A world where a twist ending is repurposed as a video title. where a thing's climax has been removed, leaving an advertisment for the gap where it used to be. such things are commonplace in. the twilight zone

fanart (1996) archive.org/details/nint...

mario is shopping in j sainssbury (he has a trolley of groceries). he is asking a staff member where the pasta(??) is. she is pointing and saying 'it's over there, sir'. he thanks her for telling him. another staff member is behind a cash register. you can see the magazine section at the back of the store. you can also see a sign 'paws' cat food and a sign at the back for what i would presume is liquor (buy 2 get 1 free).

So, in between dodging insane burnout and job hunting, I've been cooking up this Digital Sketchbook PDF full of art I haven't posted anywhere before. It's up to 20 pages currently and still has a long way to go, but once it's done, I'll drop it for Patrons & everyone on itch.io as a PWYW download!
