Affiliates, be aware that these campaigns often have *very bad* rates. The max payout, usually less than $1/ccv anyway, is often unattainable because of fine print on the “completed views” rate. We talk about this in the partner discord a lot, but some streamers might not know how bad offers are.

My first attempt at long-form content should probably not have a fusion page that looks like this for a 90-second joke. I did NOT mean to whole-ass this. 🙃

A fusion node diagram from Davinci Resolve video editing software. There are so many nodes pictured that to zoom out and view all of them they no longer show text.

I know y'all have seen this reposted a lot today, but an additional note for fellow streamers: Make sure you disable this on your bot accounts. I have a second twitch account just for streamerbot messages, and had to opt out on that on that, too.

Spending my lunch adding a !ai command to chat that reminds you to opt-out of the new default opt-in GenAI training nonsense. Once this leaves the current zeitgeist, new users might not know it's there. It's important that as many users as possible disable this setting: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec...

Twitch seems to be turning on AI-generated in-stream summaries by default, as a slow rollout (you might not have it *yet*, likely just on larger channels first) Once Twitch activates it on your channel, you can disable it by going to Creator Dashboard > Settings > Stream > In-stream Summary

From a game-design standpoint I loved playing The Stillness of the Wind. The mechanics of the game loop quietly support an engrossing ambiance - the slow pace of Alma moving about her farm gives time to think and worry, time passing as you read letters and books... a fantastic play 💛

entered a postcard design contest for @sleddinggame.com yay! tried to chase the style that I think of when I think of ski resort postcards, lots of flat colors and rows of mountain tops and big, interesting text. pretty happy with the result! sledding game!! #art

vertical postcard design for sledding game featuring the frog and penguin wearing scarves and riding the ski lift over the mountain, drawn digitally in a sort of graphic style. a blue sled is stuck in the snow in the foreground and the mountain stretches back into the distance, dotted with trees and rocks. the text reads, "Sledding Game ; See you on the mountain."

Minnesota has always been a place made more wonderful by the immigrants and refugees it welcomes. Studying and laughing with my Somali classmates, chatting in grocery store lines with my Somali neighbors, life is more rich and wonderful with them in it and no outsider is going to tell me different.
