Had 2 appointments cancelled at work this morning so decided that sorting out my desk was long overdue. Confirmed by the fact that I found the receipt for the crisps I sent into @stuartmaconie.bsky.social on 6 Music! They didn't use them though, and I have a sigh of disappointment every Sunday!
A parcel reception from the post office. It's for £3.75

Enjoyed seeing The Farm at Manchester Adored, just wish they had been on for longer. Looks like the crowd enjoyed it too! According to my countdown app it's 138 days until I will see them again, that sounds like an awful long time!

Since it’s National Eye Health Week, it’s a good time to remind you to book an eye test if you’re due one 🗓 Regular eye tests are an important health check for your eyes, even if you have no problems with your vision and don't need glasses. Have you booked yours?
“It’s recommended to have an eye test at least every two years”. A yellow graphic with black text. Below is an image of a calendar with ‘Eye test!’ circled on 25 September.

The road bridge across the River Annan. The bridge is stone and two of its arches are visible. At the front of the picture is a broken wooden fence. The sky is blue and the level of the river is low, meaning that several islands can be seen. There's lots of trees along the bank, and in the far distance a metal footbridge is just visible.
