#Heraldecember 13 | Wake In #TheLockedTomb series there's a character from a group that uses names to memorialize Earth culture after an apocalypse, even if they don't necessarily know the significance of anything. The ribbon is her entire name, she goes by Wake for short. #heraldry #heraldecember

A heraldic shield, set at a tilt and rendered in ink and copic markers. The black shield depicts a vertical zweihander sword sliced through a skull, with a drop of blood dripping off the end. Instead of a traditional helm, there's an orange hazmat hood with a gasmask attached set on top of the shield. A very long looping ribbon is crammed into the space around the helm, reading "Awake Remembrance Of These Valiant Dead Kia Hua Ko Te Pai Snap Back To Reality Oops There Goes Gravity."
