People involved in family court cases in Norfolk can now access free guidance and advice through a new website hosted by UEA. The Norfolk Family Courts information website is designed to help local families better understand the family justice system and access support where needed.
A person with red hair is sitting at a desk and looking at a computer monitor displaying the "Norfolk Family Court Information" website. The screen shows an illustration of a group of animated people above some text. The desk has a keyboard and some office supplies.

Public registration for non-SLS members will open on Oct 1st. If you’re an early career or precariously employed scholar or work outside of HE and would like to attend in person but train costs would preclude this, please do get in touch as we have a small budget to offer some support with this!

over the next few weeks, please do keep an eye out for these alongside registration information. *Interestingly, the report was embargoed until 2.30pm on September 4th 1957 but some accounts report it being published on September 5th.

Really looking forward to continuing on with some of the projects I’ve been more recently developing, including the SLS funded Wolfenden at 70 conference which I’ve been plugging the past few weeks—which is, in fact, being hosted at LSBU, so they won’t be able to keep me away for long.

It has been a privilege to have had such a varied and enjoyable role over this time. I’ve been lucky to have had such a supportive environment to develop as a researcher. LSBU’s research groups and other platforms have been fantastic places to share early drafts of some ideas and papers.

Of course, I will miss working with amazing LSBU colleagues on a day to day basis, although I hope to continue to work and collaborate with many. It feels bizarre to think that I joined in the middle of COVID and that that was only six years ago.
