Why are some copies of Kirby's Dream Land 3 selling for over $1000? 💸 On our last episode, we looked at how some #Kirby games came to be so expensive, while also looking at ways players can still afford pricier retro games. Listen below 👇 www.soundstone.network/kirby-conver...

the reveal of Kirby's Epic Yarn at E3 2010 is still one of the funniest and most evil things I've seen. as a reminder, this was back when we knew Kirby GCN existed, but we hadn't had news in years. imagine if they did the same thing again these days

holy shit, this is the whole ballgame in a single paragraph gAI systems require mass theft of copyrighted works, for the explicit purpose of replacing the market for the people they stole from, and the people in charge knew what they were doing ahead of time, and did it anyway

recently on going back and forth on the world of "why is what I write not as popular anymore" and "if I ever publish this story will people even want to read it", I just get reminded of this. the best art is created for your own enjoyment, not to please others

Bandana waddle dee artwork I made because of an epiphany I had

I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING WHILE WATCHING THE TRAILER AGAIN:
Since Kirby doesn't seem to get these super ability equivalents from their copy ability, does that mean other characters can use whatever this new magic is to obtain super abilities too? Probably overthinking it lol.

People get like, really weird about how steady Kirby releases are vs other Nintendo series but I think people straight up do not know that Kirby is like, one of their very few series that has a development team solely dedicated to it. Most other series have devs split between 2 or 3 series

To the newer artists and anyone who needs to hear it, find what works for you and don't be worried that your workflow doesn't look like someone else's! Experiment and play around, but avoid value judgements when comparing yourself to others. You only cause yourself grief trying to be other people.

thought this in 2020 during covid when I saw how long it would take to rewrite 20 Times Kirby twice. eventually in 2021 I just started. I'm still a long way to go to finish either version, but if I hadn't started back then, I would had lost 5 years of not working on it, and regret it
