Hi Tom, park at the Visitor Centre car park. View the bird from Sykes Farm yard or from outside Jackson’s Marsh hide. Showing much this afternoon from Sykes Farm when the sun moved around from 2pm onwards.

Trip to Gibraltar Point NNR today started with roadside Osprey nr Scampton. At Gib had 2 Pied Flycatcher, 2 Redstart,29 Spoonbill, 12 Greenshank,Raven, Peregrine. The best viewing is either from The Wash Viewpoint or Mill Hill. Waders fly off The Wash to a high roosting ridge out from Mill Hill. If you keep an eye on the Skegness high tides you want a ride over 6.8 metres ideally. An hour before high tide or 2 hours after high tide is best (2 of 2) 👍

Hi, The waders only tend to come up on big numbers during the biggest spring tide sequences. August and September are usually the best months for peak numbers. Tides are big this weekend but dropping down again from Monday. You may still see reasonable numbers on Tuesday (1 of 2)
