I mean, they gaslighted Lesnar of all people to do a Shooting Star Press in the main event of their biggest show, Moxley took all kinds of ugly bumps before he left, this is just another day at the office for these people

Pretty sure this is gonna happen at Wrestle Kingdom, they're trying to sell as many tickets as fast as possible since they're lacking a big experienced star in their roster atm.

We wouldn't be here without that first to be honest, it was the cringy teen phase of the company, but to think that it was only 6 years ago... nothing to be totally ashamed of, could've lasted waaaay longer.

Counting deaths in a movie is really weird to me, as these are narrative tools and should be treated as such, but in a Marvel movie? Where Tony Stark and Steve Rogers make their comeback after their epic finale in the previous huge narrative arc??? Shouldn't even be news for how little it matters.

The problem with this is that modern action games are trying so hard to do what FromSoft did, with no clear purpose besides trying to get people to talk about their games, when even FromSoft is struggling to find directions atm. The market became stealing apples from the same dying tree basically.

Still absolutely insane how differently the first Dark Souls bosses challenge the player compared to even something as similar to it as Elden Ring. Less problem solving and more execution isn't a step forward at all.

Also you won't be able to fix EVERYTHING and it's ok, I had to live with that and it was really the worst feeling ever, but it's something that you will bring with you on your next project, learn from it and move forward, you got this!

When it's not supportive, the worst thing that could happen is indifference, even if they don't like it and they vent about it, at least they reacted to what you made and that's the most important part, because maybe it's not for them, but someone else will be able to love it and appreciate it.

it is important to remember that wrestling is designed to illicit a strong emotional response from you. When done well, it approaches beauty. When done perfectly, it transcends that & enters into something ethereal & beyond words. No wrestler deserves this more.

Giancarlo Dittamo posted this tribute to PAC on X:
The Apologetic Perfectionist.
That's how I'Il always remember Ben.
I want to share a story that goes all the way back to the day
AEW was first announced.
At the time, I was working for WWE. AEW had made its announcement in a parking lot across the street from where we were doing an event in Jacksonville.
Later that night I snuck out of my hotel to meet up with some friends who had just signed with this brand new company. I was so excited for them. There was something special about all of us being in the same city that night.
As we were walking across Jacksonville we ran into a bunch of the guys from 205 Live. Turns out they had snuck out for pretty much the same reason. They wanted to see their friend. Their friend was PAC.
I always thought that was such a funny little moment. Here we were sneaking around Jacksonville, just trying to see our friends.
But looking back, what I remember most is how much those guys loved and respected him. These were people who had worked alongside him, traveled with him and shared a locker room with him. And they were going out of their way just to see him.
Years later, I'd get to understand why.
I had the privilege of shooting many of PAC's promos over the years. From the Death Triangle to the Death Riders. If there was one thing about him, it was that everything had to be perfect.
Every word. Every little detail.
If we ever caught him on camera breaking character. He'd make sure that footage never saw the light of day. And then for the next few weeks he'd apologize for it.
"Carlo, I hope you understand. I hope you understand."Two weeks ago, we set up a little room to film interviews for Andy's memorial. Nothing fancy. Just a camera, a chair and a place where everyone could speak from the heart. No characters. Just people talking about someone they loved.
I sat across from Ben as he prepared to speak about Andy.
He came in. He knew exactly what he wanted to say. He sat down, delivered it with an emotion I had never seen from him and then immediately apologized and asked if he could do it one more time.
And there we were sitting across from each other, both crying. He kept apologizing. I kept telling him,'
"It's ok. This is all fresh. There's
absolutely nothing to apologize for right now.'
But he just wanted to get it right. He wanted it to be perfect. Not because he cared about how he looked on camera but because he cared so much about the person he was talking about.
I think that's what I'Il remember most about that moment. Here was a man who spent so much of his career protecting this Bastard character of his, sitting in front of a camera trying to find the strength to just be Ben and even when his heart was breaking, he was worried about getting it right. That's who he was.
I keep going back to that room two weeks ago. Two people sitting across from each other, crying over someone we'd lost.
Never in a million years did I imagine I'd be sitting here just two weeks later, trying to find the words to talk about losing him too.
And here I am, sitting here trying to write something perfect about someone who always wanted everything to be perfect. But I don't think I can.
I wish I could tell you one more time that you have absolutely nothing to apologize for and you were truly perfect. The perfect wrestler, friend and co-worker.
Carlo.

Emi Sakura's post about PAC is breaking my heart
The first time I spoke with him was in Ireland in 2018. When you're living in an English-speaking country, Japanese suddenly reaches your ears in a startling way. Our conversations always started with his "Otsukaresamade-su." Backstage, I wouldn't sense his presence at all, but then those words would arrive right by my ear like the wind. And so I'd search for him. There's no English phrase that translates it just right—its meaning encompasses hello, long time no see, glad to see you, good work, goodbye, good night, see you later, and all sorts of other things rolled into one. I think it's the kind of greeting that comes from the way he's confronted pro wrestling in Japan. It's time. As always, I grab my bag and climb into the car. I can't believe the show goes on. Today and from here on out, forever, I know I'll keep straining to listen. Thank you, PAC.

Hell yeah, after learning the basics and the framework to analyze it, the best way to learn game design is to just learn about anything else, especially from real life.
010
Giorgio De Medio @giancamion.bsky.social · 17/09/2026
It's not anyone's direct fault btw, there isn't a popular enough framework to discuss game design and this industry decided that execution was more important than problem solving. Learning what the industry thinks a good designer is would make people have panic attacks.
110
Giorgio De Medio @giancamion.bsky.social · 17/09/2026
You learn design by learning how to learn design, as it's not something related to only gaming. You learn how to talk about it, you learn how to discuss it with others, you learn that it's an open ended conversation and that there isn't a universal solution for every problem.
110
Giorgio De Medio @giancamion.bsky.social · 17/09/2026
There is a fundamental disconnect with this type of content, since teaching design isn't supposed to be "teaching solutions", but rather "teaching problem solving". Also the language is inconsistent and unintentional for the most part, making the narrators unreliable for the most part.
