My pinky fingernail broke so I decided to cut the rest of my nails and see what finger picking like that is...and I hate it. I much prefer the brighter sound of nails. I wonder if it's worth getting fake nails...

I hate how adulting seems to get more and more in the way of working on music. I just want to lock myself up and be selfish...but I have responsibilities...

Reminder that social media isn't reality and you shouldn't let it shape your perception of the world.

I got these remote outlet switches for my lamps. They work pretty good. The normal room lights cause screen glare so I prefer floor lamps.

Younger me would have been drooling over this set up, ironically I'm not nearly as prolific as I used to be.

What do fellow guitarists like to learn and practice? I don't have the patience to learn songs aside from bits from songs I like. I prefer to learn things applicable to song writing like theory, interesting chords and progressions, chord substitutions, etc.

Got my PRS SE Hollowbody back from the guitar doctor. The magnetic pickups were really quiet for some reason. It's all good now. Decided to get some locking tuners for it. Installation was fairly easy. Fun fact, this guitar is referenced in art I commissioned from Dragonfoxgirl.

You ever wish you just had stupid amounts of money?

I was just scrolling through Twitter when I realized how annoying the engagement bait meta is. Like intentionally being confrontational or posting stories, then being incredibly cryptic in replies that only pose more questions. The incentive to farm engagement for its own sake is just...ugh

The amount of times I came back to a game, only to feel discouraged because I'd forgotten how to play and put it back down. 😮‍💨

The video options on this app are rather limiting. I hope they improve it in the future 😕

Aye, music train, why not. Here's a guitar intro to this lofi jazzy thing I'm working on. I made a mistake on one of the chords but its jazz so it still fits😜 @diontegeorgemusic.bsky.social @mayde.bsky.social @taverncatrecords.bsky.social @frozennight.xyz @divinumx.bsky.social

My creative toxic trait is that when I create something I genuinely like, I hesitate to commit to it out of fear of screwing it up.

The media tab doesn't show my gif replies?! Does this mean I can spam people with gifs with no repercussions??!!

It's nice scrolling through the discover page and it not being filled with bad takes, negativity, and overall fuckery.

I was literally just gonna ask this when I saw this. Good to know.

Maybe I should finally do one of those demo reel things. I've never been very good at marketing...
