People ask why I only seem to watch old anime. The truth is, I wish I could watch more new stuff. But I feel like I've seen 90% of what's out there in the last decade without having to watch it? There are rare gems out there, but it takes so much work sifting through the twelve-and-done slop series.

Thanks! I haven't made any in a while, and my coworkers have been harassing me for it, so I figured a long weekend makes a good time to get back into it 😅

The final results! Love the colour on this. The smokiness is perfect from the 50/50 cherry and hickory blend. Hot enough to make your lips tingle, but more savoury, fruity, and a little bit sweet. Probably my favourite batch of my favourite recipe so far!

Then a couple months ago, I started playing MW5: Mercs with some buddies and it was like the floodgates opened. I'm collecting the minis, watching the YouTube videos, on Sarna almost every day, theory crafting, trying to track down an Aces box to get back into playing tabletop... I'm back in, baby!

#battletech #mechtober day 3 is about video games! 1995's MechWarrior 2 was my introduction to BattleTech, a hobby I kept up with voraciously ever since. The novels, the sourcebooks, the games... Until becoming a poor student and struggling new professional made me feel like I had to give it up.

It’s very simple. A reality TV host became dictator because he turned down a role for Sharknado 4 and that’s why the king of outer space, who cheats at Diablo, got to kill Africa. Now the economy is controlled by a sex cult that has something to do with Harry Potter fanfic because of robots.

If a US supplier can sell a gallon to a foreign buyer for the global price or to a US buyer for less, assuming all else is equal, the US buyer better find the cash or be ready to go without their fuel, unless the gov't makes all things not-equal. This said, blaming Ukraine for it is total bullshit.
