The bill has been opened to feedback. Rather than dooming about the proposal, you can tell them exactly how you feel about the act here. ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet... With how much of an uphill battle Chat Control is having, you should never assume it's worthless to fight these draconian bills.

Olivia Just Wants Tech To Be Fun Again @kingdomfantasy6.bsky.social · 17h

This is what I'm talking about when I bring up that genAI bots are making it impossible for an open web to actually exist. It becomes expensive, a pain, and domain providers like cloudflare are profiting off both the people making bots and the people who don't have the tech skills to fight them off

FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands are pretty ridiculous.

i should clarify, when i write people doing bad things, it's because i am bad. they are me. more importantly, when you read about those bad things, they also become you. that's how story works. in fact, you are going to think about murder before this skeet ends. how's that feel, sicko.

I made a couple #HTMLCSS site templates for fun; you can use / edit them freely! Simple Celadon: Inspired by Carrd, best for small personal sites & link pages; text-heavy. MONO-RED: One page. It looks cool. Made for fun. Info / Live Preview / Free Download: w8n8.neocities.org/graphics/tem...

Preview of Simple Celadon, a plain personal site template in dull green with white buttons. Its smaller left column contains an icon, page links, and social links. It's larger primary right column consists of example text and a list.

A four square black, red, and white site template in pixel font. The first square has an icon and info section, the second square has example text, the third is designated for links, and the fourth displays lists.
