So honored to have been mentioned specifically in this interview about the Black Metal Rainbows collective, and I really wish I had the ability to play live still so I can hand out more freshly baked bread to other metal musicians! 🤘🍞 www.webzinelescribedurock.com/2026/07/itw-...

An excerpt from the linked interview that reads: "We threw a book release show at the legendary St. Vitus bar, and one of the opening acts was a woman in a solo band called greyfleshtethered. She not only blew me out of the water with her set, but she also baked a ton of bread and gave these incredible loaves out to anyone who wanted one. That small act of selflessness has stayed with me since, and it's people like her who embody joy, love, and community who deserve to be protected and uplifted at all costs."

The New Angel / GFT Split is officially live across various platforms! Thank you all so much for the incredible support already, I'll post relevant links below and with any luck Linktree will get their shit together soon so they can all be in one cohesive place eventually.

New split album announcement alert! 🚨⚠️💥 Sharing the IG post about it because I'm lazy but without a doubt I will be talking more about this as time goes on. www.instagram.com/p/DUJoER6CfZ...

oh hey just as a reminder, my main GFT IG account got hacked over the summer and now thanks to IG's bogus security measures both myself and the hacker are locked out of it. Here's my new account if you want to follow! www.instagram.com/greyfl_sh?ig...

A HUGE shoutout to @beesidecassettes.bsky.social and @bandcamp.com for highlighting Primordial Decay in their weekly Tape Label report! I'm so jazzed for the recognition, also big ups to everybody here on Bsky for getting me to 500 followers! Hadn't happened on any other GFT account before 📈

A screenshot from the aforementioned article showing a small write up about Primordial Decay, which reads: "This eight-song EP filters the squall of black metal through an electronic lens, unleashing an uncanny onslaught of apocalyptic noise and shimmering synths. Daria S. originally recorded this material in 2006 and 2007 at the very beginning of her career, only returning to them a decade and a half later. In addition to re-imagined versions of the five original tracks, the release includes three remixes which further blur the lines between dance groove and annihilation: a driving, dance-forward iteration of “Cascades of Grey” by metal-tronic Planepacked, an additional noise-crusted remake of the same cut by DJ Rozwell and a coruscating, nightmarish remix of “Ethereal Ascension” by Bronx witch house outfit Luciform. As an incentive to choose tape, Bee Side prices cassettes at $12, but digital albums at $1000 and up." (written by Jennifer Kelly)

Happy holidays, from GFT to you 🎄 My big plans are folding origami, y'all stay cozy out there.

A white tray covered in origami/crafting supplies, including 2 unfinished origami models, a pair of scissors, scotch tape, a bag of googly eyes, a tube of super glue, and scraps of left over cut paper.

Another great album that won't make the AOTY cut (too many good metal releases this year!), truthfully I was bored the first time around but listening to GREIF again I am remembering while I liked Z&A so much to begin with. Also as always we stan antifascist metal in pretty all forms! 🤘

Another 10 BC codes for ya'll! This time theyre for my debut album "The Dark Being", themed after the old PC game Lighthouse: The Dark Being. I was still getting my footing with this project as I wrote it but I'm damn proud of what I made, give it a listen and tell your friends! (codes in the reply)

Cover artwork for my album "The Dark Being"; it features a shining lighthouse atop a rocky cliff over the ocean, nestled in with a variety of coniferous trees while lightning strikes in the background. Overall the artwork is black & white but with a splash of deep burgundy red running through the middle.

Hello to all my new followers! It's Bandcamp Friday! And even though I hate the company as a whole at this point, I do love that they still do BCFs where they waive their share of the sales, so now's a good as time as any to pick up Primordial Decay if you haven't. Tapes coming soon!

Preorders just went live for my next album Primordial Decay! So exited to finally have another full length release on my Bandcamp page, it's been a bit too quiet there for a bit too long. You get 2 tracks today and the other 6 when it releases in full on 7/19.

GFT was featured on this way cool mutual aid compilation that benefits trans people affected by the flood waters in the Rio Grande do Sul! My track is called "Ethereal Ascension" and is about the frustration of living as a trans person in a world built by & for ignorant, uncaring cis people.

the album artwork for the above mentioned compilation, titled T4T: A Musical Mutual Aid Effort For Ajuda Trans RS in Rio Grande do Sul". it features bands of color flowing through space, much like the Rainbow Road level in Mario Kart, except the roads are the colors of the trans flag.

Working on some of the most lo-fi GFT material to date for an upcoming split 👀 Thinking back to when I first started making black metal in middle school and would record into Reaper with one of these bad boys up against my amp. Oh how much has changed since those days..... 🎙️
