I don’t really buy any game design argument of “you don’t miss BLAH you just miss being a kid”
Cuz like yes that’s true, but also so what? Make me feel like a kid then! In the last 5 years I’ve played so many games that made me fall back in love with games just like I did when I was 10 or whatever.
