August 16th 1977. I stayed at my nan's house because I had gone out with my uncle, got too pissed to bus it home (he's only 21 months older than me). In the early hours I heard my nan shouting 'The king is dead, the king is dead'. I thought she had lost the plot & gone back to the 1950's #RIPElvis 😂
