Great Grey Owl Life span 20 years (wild) mate for life At 4+ weeks chicks now climbs on branches being fed only by the male he will continue feeding and protecting the new owlets for up to 3 months. The female is always near by, she has done her part of incubating and staying in the nest of 4 weeks.

Anna’s hummingbird is a small, stout songbird with emerald-green back feathers and a grayish-white belly. Males feature a brilliant metallic rose-pink crown and throat patch that glints in light like sequins, while females have mostly muted green plumage with a small pink throat spot. They have a short, straight black beak and rapid, buzzing wings, often making sharp, metallic chirps as they hover.
