Following the @nytimes.com story on homeownership and births, the market itself. Home purchase loans fell 35% from 2021 to 2025, to about 2.87M. In 2025 White borrowers gained 79,000 loans, others lost 40,000. ncrc.org/mortgage-mar...

Look for the simple change you can advocate for, delivery companies made a small change to their UX and it led to millions more for 'deliveristas'. Something most developers would probably not ever have thought to do, make the option to tip more prominant.

Figured out how to add a shortcut to my ios so I can use my phone to save notes to my vault that I need to act one when I get to my computer. Eventually agents will pull right from reminders and other tools on yourphone but for now that is a real limitation.

4.1 million people dropped off food assistance in a year. Most of them kids, elderly, disabled. A recession did not do that. A budget bill did, to pay for tax cuts, with paperwork hurdles built to make people give up. Hunger as a line item.

New Claude model out today, Opus 4.8. The part I actually care about isn't the model, it's that you can now set how hard it works on a given task, low through max. Most questions don't need maximum reasoning and a long wait. Letting me opt out of that is the real upgrade.
