Beautiful snow day in nyc. However this city is always ruined by selfish owners / landlords who don’t give a fk about clearing snow. Everything will freeze over tonight. We clear streets and salt them immediately for cars but fk everyone walking I guess.

The south path on QBB is finally open. Signage needs to be much better though. On the LIC side the path just ends into an off ramp in the middle of an intersection. Almost as if you shouldn’t be there. Add planters / concrete blocks at the entrance for safety!

@bikenewyork.bsky.social 5 Borough bike tour. Amazing vibes at the start all through Manhattan. Storm rolled in while going through Brooklyn (nothing good happens on the BQE), at least it cleared up in Staten Island (out of all places!)

@nyctsubway.bsky.social do you guys ever plan on fixing this staircase (I know it’s probably privately owned) - at Port Authority 42nd St (southwest corner of 40th and 8th)?? The steps are so uneven and falling apart it poses a safety risk. Used by many tourists and it’s a terrible image

I’ve not forgot about #citiesskylines! The build continues with filling in the rest of the map - like this hilltop green neighborhood and a linear park inspired by the highline. Using a defunct track that led to a collapsed tunnel (actually an original detail in the map by @teddyradko.bsky.social )

Starting a new #citiesskylines build on @teddyradko.bsky.social ‘s amazing Orca Bay map - the focal piece I’ve been building is reconfiging the main suspension bridge to add train tracks under the road deck, calling for some very interesting train and road junctions
