I've been in a rough spot since my ex broke up with me recently and I had to make a sudden move. I'm trying to get back on my feet, but a big charge that I forgot about went through this morning, and my bank account is now in the negative. If anyone could send a few bucks my way to try and help […]

[mental health, bad life stuff] Been avoiding posting about this but been having a really bad time lately. On June 1st my partner informed me that she was ending our relationship after realizing 6 months prior that "we don't have a romantic relationship anymore." I've felt this coming for a […]

Had a nice interaction this week where I cold emailed the author of an article (about some auth stuff I was confused on), and got a very friendly and helpful response. Just a good reminder that regular communal knowledge sharing is superior to asking bots (more reliable, more rewarding, more fun)

I can't believe ArcSys are giving a joke character so much swag www.youtube.com/watch?v=jggWAAShHjs

I kinda can't believe it, I finally hit Vanquisher I might cry #GGST

Results screen for Guilty Gear Strive, showing my win and achieving Vanquisher rank. Behind the results you can see my character, Bridget. The game is modded so that Bridget's hood is down and she has cat ears, and her clothing is recolored to match the trans flag.

Lmao puddle.farm changed how leaderboards are handled, now you drop off if you haven't played Strive in the last 5 days. I jumped from 580ish to 170ish top Bridget player. Really shows how little she's played at a high level. #GGST

wild that the ATLA fighting game made Azula a stance character, and her stances are whether she's had a mental break or not

Got a new PC mouse since my last one was starting to have issues, went with a vertical/ergonomic one and it's a weird adjustment but I think I like it?

Not a big fan of Guilty Gear getting a battle pass, but at least the stuff that appears to be in it looks nice? which is more than I could say for SF6 (when I still played it, maybe that's better now idk)

Maybe I'm the outlier but I vastly prefer (when playing an online competitive game) having matches, and by extension matchmaking, that are roughly even. I don't want to stomp and I don't want to win far more than I lose. Spent the last little while reading a discussion in a game development […]

Unpopular opinion: building and using technology ethically is not the same thing as going back to a previous era of technology or staying frozen in time. Instead, it's really important to keep moving forward and building the future - new techniques, new platforms, new ideas - in a pro-social way.

Been watching the anime Monster and felt like making a little thing of Dr. Kenzou Tenma. Can't get it how I like, but I have limited experience with people. #PixelArt #Aseprite #FanArt #ドット絵

Dr. Kenzou Tenma from the anime/manga series Monster. He is wearing a long tan coat, a button up beige shirt, a white shirt underneath, blue pants and brown shoes. His hands are in his coat pockets, and his black hair is shoulder-length.

Hit Plat 3 tonight in GGST, feel like I am making actual improvements even if it isn't much. Definitely gonna keep trying to improve though, maybe if the stars align I could actually not go 0-2 at Combo Breaker lmao
