MXTXtober day 6 sun and moon 🥹❤️ My favorite couple motif ☀️🌙 #MXTXtober #TGCF #HOB #hualian #shinyart #天官赐福

Hua Cheng is on the left standing back to back with Xie Lian on the right. They are standing in front of a sun and moon. The red string of fate connects the two of them through hands on their hearts. They are glancing over their shoulders at each other longingly.

Finished the first book of my next set! I'm binding all the TGCF fics written by @kianspo.bsky.social and started with 'Jingwei Tries to Fill the Sea" (link below). I had a great time on this bind and really love the collage covers made of handmade paper (I might carry the theme with other binds!)

All to say: if someone is creating things (art, writing, music) from scratch in this age of slop, for god's sake please just let them do it, and even encourage them. It's better for literally everyone if we create a culture of encouragement around creativity rather than tearing it down.

#myart #atla #zukka POV: you work at the fire nation royal palace and you just cockblocked your boss.

Grayscale sketch of Zuko and Sokka, who are locked in a tight, shirtless, intimate embrace in a paneled doorway, interrupted by a Fire Nation palace worker off-screen. Both Zuko and Sokka are looking at the intruder. Zuko has pinned Sokka up against a wall, holding his full weight up with his arms, tilting his head up. He seems to have been looking for a kiss, his lips close to Sokka's. He looks annoyed with the audience. Sokka has his arms wrapped around Zuko's shoulders with one hand reaching up to remove Zuko's crown, his legs wrapped securely around Zuko's waist. Sokka looks flustered, blushing. Text: "Fire Lord Zuko, as you've requested, the scrolls on—Um. My apologies, I'll return at a later time."

Still on the Doujin thing, idk if I posted abt this one before, Pure Like Ink. It's the first one I made, just last year! So style and execution are a bit diff as I was learning CSP while doing it. 50p, this time a more dramatic AU (with a twist!) inspired by one of my fave moshang arts 😌🤌+

Cover depicting moshang tenderly embracing while disolving in ink, while shang qinghua pins them together with a brush that doubles as a sword. On the back, an image slowly emerges. On the right, the title, Pure Like Ink, and on the left the text reads:

If two hands painted a promise in undiluted force of will, could it become stronger than even the wheel of fate?

As the awalemed spirit of the Northern lands, Mobei jun lived in heavenly bliss.

That is, until new and deep feelings sprouted for the one being who was closest to him in the entire universe: a god of creation itself.

(panels are described as "P(panel's number)"

p1 [Narration: It started like the best and worst things always start. Two individuals: A god and the awakened spirit of a land, who nurtered a deep connection.
p2:
SQH: Play my favorite again?
MBJ: Hmm. As you wish.

[narration] And little by little, without notice]

p3:
SQH: This is so good!
MBJ: is it that tasty?
SQH: YES! Here, I'll share mine with you. After I take a bite, of course! hehe

P1, MBJ: [Redacted text], Stay still. There's a petal in your hair.
p2, SQH: Ah. I didn't notice!
p3, SQH: Thank...
P4, SQH: ...you.
P5, MBJ: You're very welcome.. As always.

[narration]: It started to morph.

Mobei Jun hugs Shang Qinghua possessively while looking directly at the observer in warning. Shang Qinghua gently embraces mobei jun, lost in thoughts. Behind them, an old mural depics a god and a demon connected, the implication being they are somehow related to moshang.

Thanks to my beloved patrons, I recently finished a 50p moshang wedding comic, and I think it's also quite the fun read! In typical me fashion it's a bit sappy, a bit comical and it has bamf sqh ofc. There's various scenes I'm fond of, specially mbj [REDACTED] 🤌.. So if you'd like +

Cover depicting shang qinghua, his body merging with the northern landscape, as he observes mobei jun walking from a distance with a fond smile. The title on the right says ExtraOrdinary, 18+, by bana, and the text on the left reads:

A traditional northern wedding consists of a ceremonial wedding hunt where the couple must draw blood from each other at least once to prove their worth and resilience as partners.

This is no different for the king, though this time, very few believe it will happen. Despite being very cunning, advisor Shang really is no match for Mobei Jun even if he were to die and be born again ten thousand times over! So how could he even think to stand a chance? Still, the king himself is adamant about going through with it — Not that the northern demons are complaining, of course... Everyone is more than prepared to feast and rejoice while watching Shang Qinghua finally fail.

(panels are described as "P(panel's number)"

p1:
mobei jun: I know you are here somewhere. Your time has run out.
shang qinghua [thought]: FUUUUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK

P2, Shang qinghua, pressing his bleeding arm (thought): Urgh, can't you be a little less competent, just today, ah? That's usually sexy of you, but not when you use it against me! You spoiled brat!!

p3, mobei, surveiling the area: Qinghua...I will fini-

p4 (scene freezing as though it were an old home-made recording) Shang Qinghua: WAIT!

p1-2, sqh, pulling a projector screen: Now you must be asking yourself "how did he get into this situation?" And well..
p3, sqh, tapping on the projection of a tender moment between him and mobei jun: This is how. After mobei proposed to me..

p4 (narration): A royal edict was issued about it, and I knew there would be some kind of push back against me. They didn't try to hide their distaste, but I could feel an ominous glee in the air —and in their comments.

p5 (various demons commending as shang qinghua walks by):
The Audacity...
Who knew he had a death wish!
Self-awareness isn't cheap.

p6 (narration): Sure, I was experienced in enduring quietly since my youth at Cang Qiong..
demon 1: Good luck, advisor shang~
sqh: ...
demon 2: You'll need it!
Sqh (narration): But not anymore —Specially here! This was MY turf now!

p1:
demons, whispering audibly between them: We thought our advisor shang was smart-
sqh: ...
sqh (narration): So after a while of this...

p2:
demon 1: Too weak.
demon 2: Too small
demon 3: No power
demon 4: How funny.
sqh (narration): I did what any sane person would do:
p3, sqh: SHUT UUUP YOU PIECES OF SHIT
p4 (narration): Escalated the matter to the final boss.
p4, sqh, slamming the door to mbj's office open: MOBEI! This is a serious matter!
p5 (narration): I was aware of the northern marriage hunt, of course. "The one to propose has to hunt and catch their beloved".
