The school asked us to provide all in one coats that stay at the school so the kids can do messy play. I think that’s great, however not so great when they don’t actually use them!

Had such a lovely morning, my stepson came along too and I took them all out for breakfast it was so lovely. And I got my nails done. Pink to make the boys wink 😉 The nail lady was very impressive with how well they’ve grown! Must be all the wine 🥴

Day off, solo parenting for the next 4 days (lol like that will be much different 🥴) So I’m going to go and get my nails done, then meeting up with my (step) daughter in law and Grandaughter to go shopping. Before the madness of the weekend begins.

Jay is going away tomorrow for 3 nights. He’s not really ever been away for that long before and whilst I’ll be fine I am feeling weirdly sad about it, I actually think I’ll miss him.

Finished the cafe to then do my actual job only to spend the afternoon dealing with people who don’t know how to do their jobs, it’s infuriating. I actually think working with toddlers is easier tbqhwy

Had a moment today, the sort of thing that will probably never happen again but was just so lovely. I played a song at the end of the play cafe to get the kids hyped up to tidy up and they all danced their little heads off, as did we all, it was so lovely and spontaneous we had a proper rave!

My neighbours have removed the ‘ovaries’ from the fallopian tree of light and now I’m worried someone’s grassed me up and told them that’s what I was calling it. Obviously I’ll blame it all on @followhuw.bsky.social but still, I’m going to miss those shining ovaries.

My main bin collection is changing to fortnightly collections as of next week. We are a family of 6 and even with all the recycling I do we will really struggle with this. I asked the council for an extra bin and they declined, so I appealed and offered for them to follow me around for a week to

When I say I went to the same school as her, she’s old enough to be my mum so not at the same time obviously! My dad was 2 years above her and my uncle was in her year.
