I am trying to explain the concept of linear time to a poodle. Apparently four minutes is an eternity. He understands "later", but not "four minutes later". My border collie does, but she's a teenager. She just doesn't *approve* of linear time.

We had a rousing game of fetch out in the desert this morning. Are they tired? Yes. Will Finnegan still be his over-energized chaotic self? More than likely. At least they're both relaxed right now. We had to stop at McDonalds and get them an ice water since I forgot the dog water bottle at home. 😅

Finnegan says hi. We went to do some errands and his favorite place to ride is leaning on the center console so he can look out of the front window. He is getting really big! He's lying on the back seat with his elbows on the console. There's a cushion in the footwell that he can lay across.

We put a long leash on Finn when we go out to the open space park to play fetch, so I can catch him if needed (he's been pretty good). But... this is why, when you have your 70 pound puppy on a 50-foot leash, you don't grab the rope when he's running. You step on it. Ooops. 😅

7 pens, cleaned and drying. 3 more to go that I found in a case after I put everything away. Ooops. I'm going to try to just keep 3-4 pens inked per month and then switch out. I had WAY too many pens inked because I was testing out pens and/or ink. Now I have the pens and (most of) the ink I want.

An ultrasonic cleaner with three glasses in front of it. Each glass has a paper towel in it, and newly cleaned fountain pens draining and drying.

I have the weirdest dog. Finn, in his crate for the night, is sleeping with his Snuggle Puppy on his face. Still there even after he rolled over in to his normal sleeping position… feet up in the air.

Same puppy, now on his back with his feet sticking up. Snuggle Puppy is still on his face. Also it’s entertaining to see how long it takes to see his face in the second picture.
