Shadow 22 PSM i-framing through my QAAMs is singlehandedly ruining my all S rank run. Mission 28 is maybe one of my favorite moments in the entire AC franchise but it's a rough mission to replay.

Hit credits on AC8. Really powerful show of force for PA and a truly excellent sophomore release after AC7's revival. It's fun to have an AC trying Something Specific and despite some hiccups, ends very strong. Also god what a gorgeous game. This game love planes more than you could ever know.

I'd say starting with Theodora or Dietrich might be a bit frustrating because both of them have you running around the map on a timer a fair bit. But in general one full playthrough will give you a good idea of the game's pace and mechanics and then you can play the other routes in whatever order.

Don't know the current state of the weapon balance but I did a whole replay of the game a couple years ago with dual etsujins and that shit was crazy. I think luds had theoretically higher damage potential but the recoil from being full auto means you basically had to play in melee range.

It's a beautifully crafted action romp that I think tows the line between bawdy irreverence and investing just enough in the characters to make you care despite how ludicrous it all is. It's the closest of all of Trigger's works to that old Gurren Lagann energy. Stupid but in a deeply sincere way.

As a longtime fan of the series, I appreciate the vector your video approaches AC. Similar to the other AC (Armored Core), experiencing the arc of mastering the initially intimidating controls become the fundamental component of what makes these types of games so compelling, so unlike anything else.
