Trump is to addled to understand most questions in depth, so he usually claims he is not ruling anything out, or “we’ll see what happens” or we’ll decide “in two weeks”. I don’t doubt he would try it if Stephen Miller thought it might work, but I don’t think Miller is that stupid.

He is not defying the Democrats. He is defying the US Congress, aka the people. A president cannot legally or constitutionally spend money however he wishes to. Congress appropriated the funding. Previous presidents signed those appropriations into law. Trump is lawless. That's the story here.

I’m in Goshen, NY for a wedding and we went to the Harness racing hall of fame. My takeaway was that this was a sport that lived and is currently dying based on the gambling industry. When people’s gambling options widened they stopped going to the track.

It’s important to remember when talking about Trump that he doesn’t consider crime a crime. “Everyone does it. We’re not so innocent.” So he doesn’t hold it against them when other people cheat, because he cheats. He pardons GOP AND Dem grifters. Putin and Xi aid our enemies? We aid theirs.

The problem here is that there is nothing specific. Trump would agree that the war needs to come to an end soon as possible. it’s meaningless. Unless Republicans are willing to publicly back a War Powers resolution cutting off funding, forcing and end into the war, it’s just idle talk.
