Well at least Apple has Small Business Program where it reduces its cut to 15% from 30% under 1 mln $ yearly revenue. Valve instead pushes your small game into oblivion if you have less than 100 reviews.

That’s it! All of those „wait, what if…” moments don’t happen. Sometimes you just change your mind as you’re doing something; sometimes you don’t know how to do something and somehow figure it out on the go - and it may lead to uncharted places.

The thing AI slopthusiasts miss is that creation is a fundamental and primal part of being human. Maybe you can “make” something faster with AI, but it skips the actual making process.

Nice it looks rad! I love all those modern approach to retro visuals. I suspected it was something similar by how going uphill/downhill works, as well as the ground popping up under water, but my guess was just stacked cubes with different texture per face with occlusion culling.

One of the last games more mainstream indie games that I remember doing that was Pixeljunk Shooter, Grow Home and Octodad. Would love more junky physics games.
