Had mine 4 years now.. 58k miles, over 2,300 euro of maintenance and service costs so far, cheaper than an equivalent ICE, but still requires a lot of maintenance.

EVs are great, but they are not just tyres and windscreen fluid. As with any modern car, you also need coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluids, suspension and steering maintenance, 12v battery replacements, and maintenance of all the complex electronics that run in any car these days.

My perception is slightly different. That may be because I'm Irish rather than American. From our viewpoint outside America, I would struggle to identify anything of substance in her agenda. Almost 1/3 of eligible voters didn't vote, indicating that apathy and disaffection is widespread in America.

It is not relevant data for them to farm, in the vast majority of cases they can farm that data, and far more from an unverified young persons's social media activity directly. The banks also purchase their security systems from 3rd parties. The social media companies could easily do it properly.

Have you considered that the social media companies are saying that it isn't effective and/or deliberately implementing weak systems because they don't actually want to develop effective solutions? It's not in their interests to do it properly. Banks use similar systems to verify I.D. all the time

You make a very good point, she didn't lose because of any single issue. But I do think the Dems weakness on the Gaza issue was a significant factor, together with the lack of a substantive platform that would have encouraged non voters to vote for her. Too many people didn't bother to vote at all.
