Be one with the monkey. Let that horse play.

A monkey is sitting among green leaves, holding a cigarette in its mouth and a lighter in its hand. Overlay text reads, "What the Monkey considers business, the Horse considers play."

Don't worry, they'll go back to being square just as soon as you've gotten used to them being round

With many artists trying to get prepped for LBX, I wanted to share this video I have seen on TikTok. Apparently Vista Prints is running materials provided by artists through AI to "enhance" or make "corrections" on art without the artists consent. www.tiktok.com/@kablooeys.k...

What a disaster this has been. There was so much I wanted to say. First off, that elbow wasn’t the only indicator. There were other parts of the drawing that had been edited, but I only had time to ad...

The literacy crisis is not just referring to people's ability to literally read and write. It's also people's inability to read for context. I've been a public educator for over 20 years and I have never, ever seen it this bad.

I like to think Thorne's never been to the mainland. Not like he's never looked at a map, just doesn't have any familiarity with it. Mina's still the one keeping them from getting lost. #minathehollower #artwork

Twilight Princess - Carries good memories, I remember getting the Wii at a midnight release with friends then heading back to our dorm and playing right away. @coxymelody.bsky.social was there too 8) Muramasa the Demon Blade - First game I played from Vanillaware, now one of my favorite developers

Tai @gauntlet.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Ogre Battle 64 and Final Fantasy Tactics occupy a similar niche as Shining Force, solidifying my fondness for strategy RPGs with large rosters and character customization. World of Warcraft - Got into it with college friends and it was a big part of my life for a while. I'm an FFXIV guy now though.

Tai @gauntlet.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

EarthBound - I remember renting it from a video store and we eventually bought a copy. Sadly our box and player's guide did not survive the ages but I still have my original cart. Still my most beloved game. Link to the Past - Not my first intro to the Zelda series but definitely what made me a fan.

110

Tai @gauntlet.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Super Mario Bros. - First video game I ever played, we got an NES for Christmas when I was about 5 years old and I've been a Nintendo fanboy ever since. Shining Force - Played it on Sega Channel and later convinced my mom to order a copy from some website, the start of my love of strategy RPGs.

OK I did the 9 games thing. This definitely isn't "THE" 9 games because there are way too many and the list could change depending on which way the wind is blowing. These are games that have particular significance in defining my tastes or have strong memories associated.

🌸The ladies and Mog of Final Fantasy VI 🌸 🖌️: acrylic gouache+gouache on 300gsm watercolour paper I think this might be my favourite piece yet 💚💛❤️ ⟡ #finalfantasy ⟡ #FF6 ⟡ #art

Acrylic Gouache+gouache painting of the main female cast of Final Fantasy VI along with Mog
they're all floating to a black background with details of flower petals, white dots and opal-colored sprayed dots.

On top is Terra, a pretty young lady with green wavy hair, wearing her red dress with flower patterns, pink pastel stockings with flower patterns, pastel purple cloak and red boots with golden decals. She is sitting comfortably, and Mog is next to her.

Celes is sitting on the right side, wearing her Amano inspired outfit with a purple tank-top, yellow west and trousers and white boots with decals on it. She has long blonde hair, and wearing a fancy hair ornament.

To her right and in-front of Terra is Relm, a child with blond curly hair and a big smile. She is wearing a big red beret with pattern, a yellow cloak connected to her necklace, a black tank-top, red puffy trousers with star pattern and red boots. She is holding a big painting brush with her left hand.

How to actually get into Metroid: 1. Play Super Metroid and/or Metroid Prime (any version). 2. If you liked it, congratulations, you're now into Metroid, and therefore interested enough to seek out information on other games in the series on your own.

120

Tai @gauntlet.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I saw a post that was like "so you want to get into Metroid" and it was a long-winded flowchart with multiple options that listed every single game. That's not getting someone into it, that's just an information overload.

He definitely hasn't been shy so far, no hiding or running from us. His name is Coco but we're not 100% sure yet whether or not we will give him another name. His charm point is the brown patch on his right side.
