Another update of how total CO2 emissions are tracking with past scenarios. Sort of tracking very much in the middle, which is probably very much expected... Based on our 2012 paper, which is still relevant: rdcu.be/brDGx

Low yielding and low data in smallholder farming systems is not a question of fate. I was able to talk on the topic at the last #AgMIP10 conference youtu.be/gAAFJtg2Qb0?...

Achieving similar (or greater?) crop yield with less mineral fertiliser and pesticides? this new paper proposes a useful framework – with examples - to quantify the contribution of ecosystem services.

Could drought and poor soil undermine the performance of intercropping ? Our study in semi-arid Zimbabwe found that the benefits of intercropping are maintained even with water and N stress. doi.org/10.1016/j.fc... Congrats Illiana Kwenda - A nice combination of field experiments and modelling

The #EU Deforestation & Forest Degradation Regulation is due to come into force in 2026. It will ban products made using raw materials from deforested areas on the EU market. To this end, research needs to come up with indicators to differentiate between preserved & degraded forests. 👉 lc.cx/iEG_5p
