Well, true Currently I am trawling Poshmark for boiled wool cardigans in acceptable colours Back in the 80s when vintage rhinestone pins were huge, we wore them on embroidered and beaded cardigans over 50s prom dresses but I think my ability to pull off that look is long gone

Sporting some of my good auction finds —Bali-style amethyst necklace —amethyst earrings from local shop Crystal Ark —tanzanite and silver ring —topaz and diamond rings —my growing charm bracelet that I made —watch but forgot my hair band!

Wearing this with a blouse I thrifted in shades of coral, peach, periwinkle, and navy. I tried both my amethyst and blue topaz necklaces with it and the amethyst was closest, but I wish I had a tanzanite one to coordinate
