Really pleased with how this turned out, the seasoning I threw together is very flavorful and the texture of the seitan is much less dense then the last batch I made I should get 12 patties from this log!

The presence of California Coronas in the latest @ranchogordo.bsky.social bean club package demanded that we make one of our favorite bean dishes for dinner this week: we call it "burrata beans" and it is 8oz of beans, cooked normally, then stewed on the stovetop with marinara sauce!

One of the highlights of our Colorado trip was the date night my parents gave me and Shana, which began with a stop at a wonderful little brewery in Estes Park called Avant Garde Aleworks before a fancy dinner overlooking Lake Estes We got a pint glass from the brewery to bring home!

This hot sauce I made with the Chinese Five Color peppers my son Isaac grew this summer is the most delicious hot sauce I've ever had I used the linked recipe, and the added aromatics work beautifully with this Pepper's flavor, the heat is a long, slow burn! knowthepepper.com/recipes/home...

We just got home from a family vacation to the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO; it's a place I first visited as a young kid, my dad (grew up in Aurora) first visited as a kid, and now my kids have been there (they rode horses! Well, one rode a horse and the other a pony)
