At the Superman premiere in Cineworld Dublin 🦸🏻‍♂️ I brought my sister along for her first IMAX experience (even though she knows next to nothing about superheros 😭) Looking forward to the movie, especially with positive comments from those at the world premiere last night! @jamesgunn.bsky.social

Been playing around with the #iOS 26 developer beta and am really loving this lock & home screen combo 🤩 (and yes, I do have no icons on my home screen as I just use the app library and spotlight)

Screenshot showing an iPhone lock screen. The clock is stretched to appear very tall and has a "liquid glass" appearance. The background is a dynamic illustration featuring Miles Morales from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, mid-air with one arm raised, overlooking a futuristic cityscape with tall, angular buildings and glowing neon lights, some of which are inverted. The color palette is dark with splashes of red and blue. The clock stretches down to just above Miles' head

Screenshot showing the iPhone homescreen with no icons on the page aside from the dock containing phone, messages, app store and chrome. The icons have a dark theme with a blue tint to compliment the blues in the wallpaper

Seated to watch Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning in IMAX at Cineworld Dublin for the regional premiere (with highlights from the global premiere in London from earlier today) I loved Dead Reckoning so I'm very excited for this!!!!

There's no I in team, but there is in IMAX and I'm about to watch Thunderbolts* in IMAX 3D at Cineworld Dublin! This is my most anticipated movie of the year so I really hope it does not disappoint! Very excited to see Florence Pugh back as Yelena and to hear Son Lux's score

Seated to watch "A Minecraft Movie" in IMAX at Cineworld Dublin My thoughts going in are to not expect much from it, especially with what I've heard from those who have already seen it

I might pull out Advanced Suit 2.0's box and grab some more accessories to use, perhaps one of the thwipping hands and a web to shoot at Venom

Jake Ward @gaminggeek.dev · 24/02/2025

I originally had 3 figures on top of my drawers (Advanced Suit 2.0, ATSV Spider-Man 2099 and the MCU Upgraded Suit) but had to move the MCU one to fit Venom on here because of how massive both the future and the base is

HE HAS ARRIVED AND HE IS HUGE 😳

I believe the screen is slightly smaller than Cineworld's and using the same, old xenon projectors rather than laser

Not at my usual IMAX screen today. I'm at Odeon in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre to watch Brave New World in IMAX 3D again Gotta say, I love the fact that every seat here is a recliner and there's tons of legroom 🤩

Jake Ward @gaminggeek.dev · 17/02/2025

I'm absolutely going to be charged an extortionate amount in customs though when it gets into Dublin... So far, it's cost me €510.52 which is €30 away from how much my Advanced Suit 2.0 figure was *with* customs so it'll be my most expensive figure purchase to date

000 0

Jake Ward @gaminggeek.dev · 17/02/2025

I went for DHL this time which was more expensive but hopefully that extra cost will mean they're more careful with the package (the outer package for 2099 came a bit damaged but at least the figure box was fine along with the figure itself) and that it'll be quicker than FedEx was

100 1

Jake Ward @gaminggeek.dev · 17/02/2025

Just got charged the shipping cost for my Spider-Man 2 Venom Hot Toys figure which means it should be leaving soon on its way here! I had pre-ordered this along with the 2099 figure last March so it's almost been a year since I paid for the figure itself

David Tennant killed it with the opening to the BAFTAs and ending it with Elphaba's battle cry from Defying Gravity was the cherry on top 👌

Seated to watch Captain America: Brave New World at Cineworld Dublin in IMAX 3D! I don't think it'll be as amazing as past cap movies but I'm hoping it'll still be a good movie

I had already decided not to do what I normally do and book every single IMAX showing or spending the day going back and forth between IMAX & 4DX as I didn't want to spend as much money but that might end up being a good idea for other reasons...

Jake Ward @gaminggeek.dev · 14/02/2025

Currently on my way to Cineworld for Brave New World but have heard from multiple people I can trust when it comes to movie reviews that it isn't good so I'm a little worried I won't enjoy it

Another Wednesday, another set of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man episodes and damn they're good I loved all 3, especially the one with Scorpion, and truly cannot wait for the final two episodes (especially with that ending in episode 8 👀) but I also don't know what I'm going when it's over 😭

Jake Ward @gaminggeek.dev · 11/02/2025

He may not have his big ass but everything else about him sure is big. He towers over my existing figures without even being on the base 🤯 His arms are also like twice as thicc as my Tom Holland Spider-Man figure's arms 😳

Jake Ward @gaminggeek.dev · 11/02/2025

I just unboxed my Spider-Man 2099 figure and they took away his ass 😭😭😭😭😭 My guy had a dump truck in the movie and this figure has the flattest ass I've ever seen smh my head
