Hubby was on a work trip and stopped at a few thrift stores. He picked up Call to Adventure for $3 at Goodwill. One more game we want to try.

We have lots of dog parks, but I want my dog meeting other dogs in a more controlled environment first. I don’t know about Boston terrier meet ups. I rarely see Bostons in my area.

My Boston can’t do five days a week bc one day is for senior dogs only. I’d like her to go 4 days a week, but they only want her 3 days a week. My dog lived the first 7 yrs of her life in a kennel being bred. Her social skills aren’t great. Hoping daycare helps.

I just finished counting the parts to Cosmic Encounter. There are some missing pieces. The game is still playable as long as there are only 4 players. There are only 8/20 green ships. Also missing is one Cosmic Token (41/42). We’re searching for replacement pieces now.

One of my autistic student’s special interests is birds. Some teacher taught him to give a bird fact of the day instead of info dumping in the middle of class. I learned the corvid fam remembers your face if you’ve done one of them dirty and teaches their young to hate you. #autism

I really need this 3 day weekend. Everyday, when I walk in the classroom, thermometer reads around 80°F/27°C. By end of day, thermometer reads 90°F/32°C. Most days, humidity has been 90% or higher outside. It’s exhausting. #teaching

I have to have my school picture taken every year. I hate having my picture taken. Last year, 4 of my coworkers and I did an awkward family photo. This yr, everyone has to wear a tiara and look imperious. When I told 2 coworkers my plan, immediate response was “I’m in”.

Enough is enough. Black Americans are being targeted and murdered in Mississippi and law enforcement isn’t investigating, but calling it a suicide. There isn’t much media coverage either. If this were happening to White Americans, the media and law enforcement would be all over this.
