My interns surveyed 216 water fountains in District 6, and found that 10% of fountains don't work. I passed legislation that will add 50+ water fountains at park entrances, but the work isn't done. People shouldn't be stuck with broken fountains on a hot day! Newsletter: bit.ly/BrewerSubscr...

I do not support criminal summonses for bicyclists who commit minor traffic infractions. I want people to follow the rules of the road but a civil summons is more appropriate when they are necessary. Car drivers rarely get criminal summonses even when they are deserved.
