Hey, I'd like to draw some attention to @ghala7.bsky.social today. She's a great follow for commentary, and she could use some help. Please contribute if you can, with money if you have it, or with a kind word. Thanks <3 tinyurl.com/3u5cbcvu

So, I read smart people. There is a playbook for this next chapter. I believe we can do this. It won’t be easy, but the map is there. Featuring resources & wisdom from Dr. Erica Cheoweth, @prisonculture.bsky.social @mskellymhayes.bsky.social, @jaclynf.bsky.social & more.

previous jobs 👀 - ice cream shop at a mall (hated busy times but overall second best job I've had lmao, also the first) - front desk for a shady after-school program company - a literal scam 🤪 - accounting 🗿 - various medical places that sucked ass - campus store

Anyone have resources for southern states that may not have the protection blue states will have via their governors—just looking for something that acknowledges the hardship w/o the doomerism. Seeing too many "We're fucked" "we're doomed" "it's over" messages and it's really, really getting to me

So. We have 72 days. Some of it can be for mourning, but not all of it. What is on *your* list to do before then? Comment here. Mine starts with: update vaccinations for everyone in my home, new IUD, emergency supplies, reach out to neighborhood networks, talk about preparedness at school & at work

Please share this, because this could help some folks with worry. For LGBT married couples, it's time to take steps to protect your marriage in case same-sex marriage is officially dissolved in the coming years. My husband and I did this when Roe V Wade was overturned, so I hope this is helpful. 👇

quick vent: right now it just sucks seeing your demographic be described as one of the most likely to be affected by the election results. its scary being a queer afab hispanic immigrant right now and even if i had the option to leave im not sure if that's the right answer, if there even is one
