I've historically been more pro-ban than most, but I really don't think you need to ban cards when blue/red is the best deck. That's just the game functioning as intended. They left Volcanic Island out of Alpha, and that was your chance to try the other color pairs.

Now feels like a good time to show off this amazing art piece my wife made for me a couple years ago. She asked me what kinds of things I say when losing at Magic. (In jest, with friends, of course. Never with strangers! I'm not a monster.)

Large art piece that is in the style of the back of a Magic: The Gathering card, but it says "Magic: The Suckening" towards the top, "Suckmaster" in a box towards the bottom, and the colored circles in the middle that represent the five colors of Magic have been replaced with the mana symbol for each color. Below the white mana symbol (a Sun) is written "You Suck". Below the blue mana symbol (a Water Droplet) is written "Your Deck Sucks". Below the black mana symbol (a Skull) is written "This Game Sucks". Below the red mana symbol (a Fireball) is written "I Suck". Below the green mana symbol (a Tree) is written "Everything Sucks".
