A very apt post on the day we see our seventh PM in ten years. Back in 2013 Thomas Piketty had within his thesis on inequality, the conclusion that an absence of a wealth tax would inevitably lead to political turmoil.

I’m so glad that I’ve seen this. I always thought that the figures of 70,000 dead in Gaza after two & a half years of levelling the place, with zero journalists, didn’t add up. Yet 40,000 dead Iranians in a month or so? Noted that Emma Murphy of the BBC was an actually in Tehran yesterday.
