I always think of this "woman" from the mid 1800s that had chunks of their diary on exhibits in a history museum in Michigan when I visited in 2017. They looked like they'd been there a while.

Homeless folks had set up a camp on a dead end between two sections of a park in a rich neighborhood in Portland. The wealthy complained about it blocking the sidewalk for disabled folks. After they swept the camp they fenced the road off and this was the detour.

Christian Slater and Samantha Mathis as high school seniors in his pirate radio setup from Pump Up The Volume. It's a movie about him speaking truth of despair to the comfortable in power with a pirate radio station. It ends with a very explicit "You should break the law if that's what it takes to be heard." You should see it.

What even is the low-turnout-infrastructure-capture-election thing about? The only thing on the Portland ballot in 2025 was the park funding and I don't see that? Is that "small group" just the progressives on the Portland city council? Also neat how they disabled right click and text highlighting
