If I know my @vgapocalypse.bsky.social crew there will be at least 1 hour dedicated to the #stallker2 DLC and Unreal 5 upgrade this week... just saying it's pretty damn good.

Just watched an InPost locker maintenance guy trigger all of the doors to open within less than a second of one another, it might be the most satisfying thing I've seen.

Was going to stream the new STALKER2 DLC but my weapons seems to be being rendered on the N64 for some reason.

Help me out, I'm trying to remember a #WiiU exclusive multiplayer game that came out towards the end of the consoles life, it was third person, had so of an Uncharted vibe in terms of old ruins, maybe? It would have been 3 or 4 player, was meant to be good but came out too late, can't find it!

Front Mission 3 is in my top 5 games of all time. It perfectly encapsulates my early 2000s, heavily anime inspired yet westernised, deceivingly in-depth story, an odd depiction of the internet, great gameplay, likable characters blah blah.. 26 years later I only just learn there is a second campaign

This is the most boring game of sportsball I think I've seen, at least if we had go to the final we would have had the common decency to let a goal in by now.

13 years ago today I took this picture, excited for the future of android gaming... it wasn't all that bad really, I mean it was pretty shit, but I had some fun with it.

@kermodemovie.bsky.social @simonmayo.bsky.social @kermodeandmayo.bsky.social I think AI is a terrible thing, but it is tremendous at making people into muppets. I was watching your latest podcast and the urge became too much for me - I blame the heat. Hello to Jason.

I mean, that's the most honest 4th wall break Kojima has put in a game.

With the Steam controller being available, its sent me down a rabbit hold of PC pads I had growing up, those were the good (arguably bad) old days. Here's a few #retro #controller #steamcontroller

I do slightly miss non uniform pc controllers, this SideWinder pad saw me through hundreds of games (mostly roms, lets face it)

Diving into new (to me) old games is way more exciting these days than new IP, I don't think there will be many games that capture the ambition against limitation of the old-school era. May @gog.com continue their fantastic work! #retro #gog #dos #rpg

Downloaded the demo for @denshattack.bsky.social on Switch 2. One of the most uplifting, fun games I've played in years. Reminds me of games like Airblade and Burnout 3 with the charm of the Sega Dreamcast. Will be buying.

I actually think Resident Evil Requiem might be the best in the franchise. Name anything else where 9 has been the best instalment (I know there are way more resi games than that).

Here is an uncommon sentence, the new Resident Evil is incredibly well acted, loving it so far, for better or for worse will probably finish it this weekend.

Having watched The Chair Company for the second time, @remedygames.com if you ever make a TV series of Control, let Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin be involved, they capture that perfect blend of mundanely serious and outlandishly bizarre.

If you're like me and can't be arsed to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11, make sure you go to the Windows Update settings and enrol in extended security updates, it'll give you security updates until October next year - they don't advertise that very loudly.
