You joke, but TASing has also been infected by genAI garbage. TASVideos has a pretty clear anti-AI stance, yet some spineless fucks keep submitting AI-assisted TASes. It's reached the point where I wonder if I should still be a part of it.

Well good thing I mever used EGS at all. Epic is fully gung-ho on the genAI/vibe-coding train.

I'm so fucking tired, y'all. GenAI is effectively ruining everything.

I hope we're getting some sustained rain in the coming days/weeks. But I'm not holding my breath. This summer is easily the worst one I've ever experienced in my life.

In case it wasn't clear: We are in what's most likely the worst drought in years, if not decades.

Can summer actually **fuck right off** already? We're in September, and we've been getting virtually nothing but shit-ass sun instead of what we ACTUALLY need, namely rain. Not to mention we are supposed to be in autumn.

Screenshot of the weather forecase for my location for the rest of September. Notably, the maximum temps are well above 25C starting on Saturday, with a peak at 28C on Tuesday.

I still need to play Zero Mission proper as well as actually play and beat Super Metroid, lol. But *waves wildly at other games*

Vibe coding (and AI slop in general) continues to ruin everything.

Sorry to inform you, but the devs of the "sequel" seem to be absolute fuckheads. Also Suda51 isn't involved: bsky.app/profile/pani...

I mean given the PDN author had a severe meltdown over people not liking the fact he vibe-coded a build that can run on WINE, I am honestly considering to just completely uninstall it and switch to Krita instead. I'd only use GNU Image Manipulation Program as an absolute last resort.

fsvgm777 (Stella F.) @fsvgm777.eurosky.social · 01/09/2026

I am also eyeing at an alternative named Krita, which is similar in functionality, which itself is maintained by the KDE project. Since I mainly just used paint(.)NET for resizing large screenshots back down, I could make the switch rather easily.

fsvgm777 (Stella F.) @fsvgm777.eurosky.social · 01/09/2026

Soooooo it looks like the creator of paint(.)NET threw his goodwill away by making a buggy to his admission build that can run on Linux, with the catch it's vibe-coded to all hell and back. I am beyond disappointed, and will not be updating it past 5.1.12 going forward.

I have achieved 10 star rating in UNBEATABLE. Phew, what a journey that was. Kinda wanted to make a specific song the jump to 10, but...I accidentally jumped past it, lmao. Also got FCs on Done in Love (from Noisz SL) 18 and Forever When 19, as well as a decent score on an endgame song's 20-diff.

I am now fully committed to get 10 star rank in UNBEATABLE. I am currently at 9.885. Also I have discovered my hard limit with 2 keys is very low 21. Anything above is impossible for me, lol. I've almost FC'd a 19, too.

Don't give them an inch. Opt out, tell everyone you know to opt out. There is so much amazing creativity and innovation in streaming, and it belongs to us, not to companies trying to steal our work and take all the credit for themselves.

...Oh my god I just realised the cover art for Ball is Infinite in UNBEATABLE is a direct reference to the Fun is Infinite easter egg in Sonic CD.
