I think it's so sad that #daggerheart reduced the patron's sphere of influence to one It was something that was already limited by the amount of favour, so I don't think it was that powerful and I really felt the limitation of only having the one sphere when I played it

The vibe of this #swordtember2026 entry may seem odd with the prompt werewolf but, what you have to understand I love a good curse quest item! #dnd is so bad when it comes to curses, so I thought this #homebrew sword might be fun for others who ignore a certain 3rd level spell

Cleansing Sun
Magic weapon (scimitar), very rare (can be attuned)

Illuminated by the sun this magical weapon deals and additional 2d6 Radiant damage. It also radiates bright light in a 10 feet radius around it and dim light for an additional 20 feet; this light is sunlight.

If attuned, you are unable to be affected by curses such as Lycanthropy or Vampirism. If you are currently effected by such a curse it is removed during your attunement.

Perhaps not what people expected from this #swordtember2026 prompt, but I think #dnd needs more magic weapons designed of early levels tbh. Raging flaming swords of doom are cool and all, but unlikely to ever get put in your hands. #homebrew

Magic weapon (any sword), common
A beautiful bronze sword with flame designs across the blade and hilt. The light always hits it perfectly.

While held, the range of bright and dim light cast from all open flames within 30 feet of this magic weapon is extended by 10 feet, and the duration it burns for is doubled.

Burial Blade
Magic weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement)

A heavy stone blade, polished and pristine no matter the use. This magical weapon deals an extra 1d6 Radiant damage to any target it hits. It also has 3 charges, these can be used to fuel the following ability:

Resting Dead. As a Reaction, when reducing a creature to 0 hit points with this weapon, you may expend a charge to destroy the remains in brilliant radiant light. You regain hit points equal to its CR.

When you use a charge you must also mark 1 failed Death Saving Throw which you regain after completing a Long Rest.

So, I've been in a constant state of being overwhelmed, both by things going on in my life and also the Homebakery. So, what I've decided, in what is a totally reasonable decision, is to give #swordtember a go! I may not complete the set but, regardless, enjoy this #homebrew #dnd weapon ✨

Jelly Blade
Magic weapon (rapier), uncommon (requires attunement)

A marvel of glass and magic, this sword has been designed to look like a jellyfish frozen in place. The cup hilt upturned to look like the umbrella, the blade a tangle of thin tentacles crafted to a point, and sporadically within the glass the colours shift and pulse giving this sculpted weapon a sense of a movement.

While attuned to this weapon, you gain the amorphous trait and can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch without expending additional movement to do so. You also gain advantage on skill checks to escape being Grappled or Restrained.

Neutral/Full: Indistinguishable from a human, no vampiric features showing.
Hunger for blood doesn't strike too often so this is how she looks most of the time.

Slightly Hungry: Some features like subtly pointier teeth or ears showing. Hunger at this stage is just background noise and very manageable.
Still fully in control of herself.

Hungry: Bigger canines, pointier ears, slightly sharper features. In control of herself, but will be uncomfortable until she feeds. It usually doesn't get worse than this.

Very Hungry: In control of her faculties but barely if not completely unable to control her hunger. At this stage, she might do things she usually wouldn't just to feed.

Ravenous: A state close to human starvation, extremely rare for her circumstances. Feral, with little to no control over herself. Can only think about feeding. Features are elongated, sharp, inhuman. Her teeth are bulging out of her mouth in a way that is not biologically designed to let it close comfortably until her hunger is satiated and they retract.
