Some pretty great bars in this place.
Me in a boat on the Chain of Lakes in approximately Richmond, MN, slugging back an ill gotten bottle of Deschutes beer with two more waiting nearby in the holster/drink holder.

This cat immediately went to post on Nextdoor about a suspicious pair casing the neighborhood after my dog and I left.

Up at Silverwood Park in St Anthony, MN, they built an ice carousel. Drill a hole in the ice, put in an outboard motor, cut the ice in a big circle, fire up the outboard, ice carousel. People do fun weird shit outside in Minnesota all winter long. Park was packed. It’s delightful here.

I'm a resident of the Twin Cities. A small team and I spent 3 days sculpting this for a competition/festival in extremely cold temperatures. We were disqualified for political messaging and one of the organizers defaced it. I have no regrets and I have never been more proud to be Minnesotan. (cont)

The feast approaches.
Ringed notebook with top sheet absolutely covered in a maniacally detailed Thanksgiving planning schedule.

Top: menu including turkey, chickpeas cutlets, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, rolls, pies, Brussels and stuffing.

Make ahead section: broken down by daily activities for any dish that requires multi-day prep.

Bottom half: hand-drawn scheduling grid with rows of timeslots in 15-minute increments and columns with an individual dish in each column. Each square details what needs to happen for that dish during that time period. Columns also include cooking pot requirements to avoid unplanned overlaps.

Bottom row simply reads, "EAT!"
