Been going through it today. Got a bad headache that I can't seem to get rid of. Seems like rest is the only thing I can do.

THPS games had banger osts. As for the other bands, you got some good picks in there.

Studio Aurum - MONSTER CROWN Sin Eater IS NOW OUT! @studioaurum.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

My 9 Albums This was tougher than I thought. Gotta thank the AMVs of the early 2000s for most of these bands. Funny how many cool Canadian bands there are. Dead center is my favorite underrated band, Zebrahead. They did His World from Sonic 06 which is how I discovered them.

We've been cooking up a new concept, "Conservatory K: Kaiju Raising Project" Raise and evolve kaiju hatchlings into supernatural giants in a virtual-pet-style web, then unleash them to battle monsters threatening to destroy the ecosystem. What do you think? #ScreenshotSaturday

The image consists of two seperate screenshots. The top screenshot shows "The Pasture", which acts as a sort of main screen to the game. A cute, smaller monster called Barnacle can be seen on the right, including its stats.

The bottom screenshots shows a battle scene, Monster Rex Vs. Huang Long. Both monsters look like fearsome Kaiju, in contrast to the previous image.

It's gotten so bad. Can't even trust the official developers either since there's always a chance they'll do the same.

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

There was a Digimon World 3 game that had some good ideas but they made it with A.I. The part that sucks the most was that it basically had everything I wanted to see in a remake/remaster.

Overall, Beatbreak is not a bad series but certainly not the best. My biggest hot take is that I don't think it's better than 02. It's got some of the same issues but I feel like 02 handled its characters a bit better. Anyway that's just my opinion, if you enjoyed it that's all that matters.

They could have explored them more or give them more to do. They felt more like side characters that were mostly there for support. Maybe having a more focused story with less characters would have helped. I don't know, I would have preferred more tamer battles instead of what we got.

121

Some characters had a lot of screentime earlier on and it felt like they wanted to do more with them but didn't. The villains didn't feel as interesting as the ones in Savers either. What bothered me more though was the treatment of some of the main characters.

I got another hot take coming up so grab your pitchforks folks. Ahem, I didn't enjoy Digimon Beatbreak that much. Don't get me wrong, It had some pretty standout moments but it had some pretty big lows as well. The story could have been planned out better had they not treated it like a weekly manga.

Well we made it to the weekend again. Already coming up on October. Thanksgiving doesn't seem like it will include as much thanks but I still want that turkey. Good news is I will be more active come October as things will slow down.

I feel the same way with Sonic. It's nice that there is a lot of variety that we can pick and choose which games we prefer.

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Post the first Zelda game you ever played (My hot take of the day is that I like the non 3D Zelda games better, I say that as I watch everyone pull out the pitchforks 😅)

Pipimon, Pupumon, Pafumon and Fusamon Some Digi-beans because art block was making me grumpy; but I lacked the will for anything too complicated.. On that note, It's funny how Fusamon has like no art with their eyes open; so my only reference for that was the Vital Bracelet sprite. #digimon #デジモン

What a week I had. Storm knocked out the power and it didn't get fixed for three days. Then found out the router got fried and had to get a new one. Good to be back but those last four days felt so long...

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I got to 700 posts without realizing. My weekend was pretty good. On Saturday my family celebrated our three year anniversary of moving (we moved in August be we forgot😅) and my dog's 4th birthday. Sunday was family lunch and yard work. Hope everyone had a great weekend. May this one be even better.

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Dumbest decision they ever made. Can't be bothered to A) Do it themselves or 2) Find talented artists to do it for them.

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Sad the long weekend is over because I didn't get to do as much as I wanted. Something I ate on Saturday got me sick and I have no idea what it could have been. Can't believe it took me until last night to start feeling better. Hope everyone else enjoyed their weekend though.☺️
