I got another hot take coming up so grab your pitchforks folks. Ahem, I didn't enjoy Digimon Beatbreak that much. Don't get me wrong, It had some pretty standout moments but it had some pretty big lows as well. The story could have been planned out better had they not treated it like a weekly manga.

Well we made it to the weekend again. Already coming up on October. Thanksgiving doesn't seem like it will include as much thanks but I still want that turkey. Good news is I will be more active come October as things will slow down.

Post the first Zelda game you ever played (My hot take of the day is that I like the non 3D Zelda games better, I say that as I watch everyone pull out the pitchforks 😅)

Pipimon, Pupumon, Pafumon and Fusamon Some Digi-beans because art block was making me grumpy; but I lacked the will for anything too complicated.. On that note, It's funny how Fusamon has like no art with their eyes open; so my only reference for that was the Vital Bracelet sprite. #digimon #デジモン

What a week I had. Storm knocked out the power and it didn't get fixed for three days. Then found out the router got fried and had to get a new one. Good to be back but those last four days felt so long...

I got to 700 posts without realizing. My weekend was pretty good. On Saturday my family celebrated our three year anniversary of moving (we moved in August be we forgot😅) and my dog's 4th birthday. Sunday was family lunch and yard work. Hope everyone had a great weekend. May this one be even better.

Sad the long weekend is over because I didn't get to do as much as I wanted. Something I ate on Saturday got me sick and I have no idea what it could have been. Can't believe it took me until last night to start feeling better. Hope everyone else enjoyed their weekend though.☺️

Had the day off today. Caught up on some sleep, had Popeye's chicken sandwiches for lunch, hung out with the dogs and then played a game with my brother. Pretty chill day so far. Not sure what I'm going to do for the long weekend yet.

Lots of cool game news on the horizon. There's the state of play tomorrow (& yes, the hate Sony is receiving is well deserved) and the Konami thing. Hoping there's a lot of cool stuff revealed especially if some of those rumors going around are true. (Fingers crossed for Bloody Roar)

Oof, it's been 26 days since my last post. I hate how busy it's been. I'm eagerly awaiting summer which means things will slow down enough for me to do more. But what I really want to do is reinvent myself. Go back to making stuff just for the fun of it. I want to be a creator, not an onlooker.

Weekend has been pretty chill. Weather hasn't been the greatest but I did catch up on some sleep. If/when things calm down for the summer, I'm hoping I can do more. There are a lot of things I want to do but so little time.

Finally the weekend again. It's been very busy for me lately. Haven't had as much time to kick back and relax but I'm gonna try. Hoping I can work on my creative writing project some more and try some new things too.

Steve: Fire is his element so heat doesn't bother him, he could even swim in lava without trouble Alex: Heat doesn't bother him much as he is used to the desert heat Tina: Has ways to counteract heat so it doesn't bother her much Sarah: Can use plants to mitigate it but will complain about the heat

Hospital don't exist in the realm. They are plenty of places that have healers which are better than doctors (this is a magical world after all). If anyone is highly proficient with magic they can find paths to recover on their own. Some are practically immortal because of this.

010

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

Hmm tough question. I suppose I'm most guilty of making all of my characters not like me. They're all strong, confident and their personalities are wildly different from my own. They're supposed to be like idealized warriors that can command respect or be an absolute terror of a villain.

000

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 06/05/2026

For the most part many are built to handle it. There are others that are not and have paid a heavy price forcing themselves to adapt and evolve. That's not to say that there aren't ones who could've handle things before finding that they aren't as strong as they thought depending on the situation.

000

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

I like putting my characters in awkward situations they can't just punch their way out of. Like being around their crush or family members telling embarrassing stories to their friends.

010

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

Kinda had a rough day. Felt sick earlier, skipped lunch, felt exhausted. Whatever made me sick did a number on me. It's not unreasonable to say maybe I should be concerned about it if it's this bad next time.

020

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

I wouldn't say I have writer's block when it comes to my OCs, it does happen with the main story a lot. Sometimes things don't work or I can't explain certain things happening in a natural way. For characters, it's more of how to make them work within the story and figuring out what their roles are.

000

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

This is as good a time to talk about one of my other characters. Mia would make the best mermaid. She loves water and is a natural swimmer. She is a lot like a shark though and fish are her favorite food. Valeria would be the worst. Anyone in her vicinity would be electrocuted unintentionally.

Steve: Will recklessly run into danger not caring about getting hurt. Learning to trust his friends more so he doesn't use his body as a shield. Alex: Impulsively lets his instincts take the wheel. Tries to keep his head cool with breathing exercises to not become a raging beast. (1/2)

Steve lives in a city near a volcano where most of the people are warriors who work for a group his cousin formed whereas Alex lives in a small desert town where the roughnecks gather. Tina lives in a town known for having scholars while Sarah lives in a jungle city known for its assassin guild.

For this one, I'll be including more than just one color since they tend to have two associated with them. One being their overall favorite color and the other with their magic type. Steve: Red & Black, Alex: Blue & Brown, Tina: Pink & Yellow, Sarah: Green & Purple

FrozenSoulUC @frosteeuc.bsky.social · 28/04/2026

It started from indulgence as my OCs were made for a Resident Evil fanfic. The more I wrote about the characters though the more it felt they were there to fit the narrative I was going for. Eventually, I thought it would be better to feature them in an original story with their own uniqeness.
