I’ve been a bit quiet — flu, fatigue and a surprise pre-op call meant I needed to pause and breathe. Taking things one day at a time now: resting, crocheting, gently planning, and holding onto a quiet hope for what’s ahead. A few new bits coming when I’m able.

A few days and a lot of slow stitching later… the pumpkins are finished. Started as a little creative rest when things didn’t go to plan — now it’s a cosy reminder that making simply for the love of crafting is its own kind of magic. Still needs framing, but I love how it turned out 🍂

The updated version of Mummy Duck is now live on Etsy and Ravelry (and on her way to Love Crafts). I have loved getting to work on her again, she is one of my favourite Spring/Easter #crochet projects. Patterns now include yarn information for Paintbox Cotton DK & photo guides for special stitches 🧶

Think this will do for my summer office 😁 The move may have aged me by several years but it was 100% worth it to be able to make a cup of tea and take it into the garden to enjoy. After 9 years of not being able access the outside world without a lot of help I will never take this for granted.

Took the scooter into town and the drop curbs were not as dropped/smooth as I would like. Now I have a really sharp pain in my lower back. Trying to ignore it and hoping it goes away as I really don’t have the time or capacity to deal with any more problems right now #hypermobility sucks 😕

Declaring on here that I intend to complete the CWS tech editing course over the next couple months as need some accountability. Tech editing crochet patterns would be an absolute dream job and feels like one of the very few things I could be really good at/enjoy AND could fit around health issues
