I’m going to finalize the possible compositions and release this collection somewhere. Tedious, but ultimately satisfying. I just heard the term “Liminal Abstraction” and I think it fits well. I was thinking of these as images that have yet to emerge from the viewer’s mind.

Furthermore, the arrogance of the US getting angry when we fight back is unacceptable. I’m with Carney: no talk until Canada gets treated with respect. No “deal” is worth the paper it’s written on. This quote is important. Trump isn’t a one time thing. The U.S. can easily elect another tyrant.

The United States is no longer a trusted ally. This reality extends past whenever Trump leaves office.
Maybe too many of us are still in a state of disbelief to admit it, but our neighbours and former friends have succumbed to authoritarianism. The United
States can no longer be characterized as a full-fledged democracy. It is now, in fact, the greatest threat to the democratic world of my lifetime. And even if Americans eventually buck the Republicans out of power and bring in a 'normal' government, we can never trust them again. The willingness of half their population to support a criminal monster must never be forgotten.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to compute cellular automata that are interesting (e.g. Wolfram Class IV) I’ve only done 1D with discrete states. Gotta move on to different rule types, continuous values, &c, but the aforementioned cat won’t let me program anymore right now. 🙄 He’s the boss.

I just want to say: this is my cat (and his mini-me) and he’s sometimes the only thing that keeps me from screaming. Maybe he’ll put a smile on someone’s face.
