I get that transition timelines are affirming to post and a way to help people who are just starting to think about transitioning but I just... it feels like there's an infohazard here by being open about what they looked like before HRT. Like they are putting themselves up to be a target.

Honestly realising that a lot of the issues I have had with orthostatic intolerance are actually probably ME/CFS and not something like POTS/MCAS (though I still get the skin writing for example) has made me glad for the understanding, but my god this is bleak to reconcile sometimes...

Mine is The Machanic's Institute in Swindon, which the council actually wants to do something about! But it's privately owned and they don't have the funding. As an ex-HE employee it was always a little bit of an ironic thing to go past on my way to their Swindon office from home/the station.

Living in such a bike-friendly town for the UK (like Swindon*, Cambridge, parts of London like Tower Hamlets) really does also incentivise this so much more. I don't drive anywhere near as much as I used to because the e-bike plus panniers is more convenient. *Yes, Swindon. I'm deadly serious. 🧵

Electrolysis for surgical site has started back up again - and I am once again frightening a new technician with how my pain thresholds work. Cluster Headaches suck but they also have a side-effect - they make most people's excruciating pain like a mild wasp sting because your brain recalibrates.

I have had the first fitting of a tailor-made corset pattern over the weekend! Even in the current state of fit it's so much better wearing dresses without feeling unsupported or bloated. Needs tweaking before the final design so at least one more pattern to do.

My most woke opinion is that too many of life's problems come from a similar common theme where folks in power are jealous of communities they can't influence and choose to deny those communities bodily autonomy instead of actually accepting difference and putting in the work allyship entails.

First bit of interactivity! Spent the weekend refactoring most of the code from the last two weeks, significantly improving the responsiveness of the keypad hander and simplifying the drivers. Now it’s all integrated with the embedded-graphics crate for consistent color typing.
